AGIC runs alongside Run4Hope Italia to support cystic fibrosis research
Sport, solidarity, and participation: AGIC joins the Rome stage of the national solidarity relay
AGIC took part in Run4Hope Italia, the national relay-based solidarity running tour, joining the Rome stage and actively contributing to the nationwide initiative in support of the Fondation for Cystic Fibrosis Research (FFC Research).
Run4Hope is a non-competitive event that brings together sport, solidarity, and widespread participation across the entire country. The 2026 edition, scheduled from April 18 to 26, involves all Italian regions simultaneously through synchronized regional relays, with the aim of raising funds for scientific research on cystic fibrosis—a severe genetic disease for which no definitive cure currently exists.
The AGIC team participated in the relay with enthusiasm and a strong team spirit, sharing a moment of collective engagement that goes beyond athletic competition and translates into a tangible commitment to scientific research. Through running, each step becomes a symbolic gesture of support for the research projects promoted by FFC Research, which is dedicated to the development of innovative therapies and to improving the quality of life of people living with cystic fibrosis.
Run4Hope Italia, organized by the Run4Hope Italia ONLUS Association, is now one of the most significant sport-for-solidarity initiatives at the national level. Thanks to the involvement of sports associations, public institutions, military units, companies, and individual runners, the initiative promotes a culture of active solidarity and ensures that all donations collected are entirely allocated to the beneficiary organization.
“Taking part in Run4Hope means sharing values that are deeply part of who we are: collaboration, social responsibility, and care for people”, comments Laura Petrini, AGIC HR Director. “Supporting cystic fibrosis research through such a widespread and participatory initiative is a concrete way to turn collective commitment into real progress for scientific research.”
With its renewed participation in the Run4Hope Italia relay in 2026 as well, AGIC reaffirms its commitment to initiatives that promote community well-being and social responsibility, underscoring the importance of pairing technological innovation with actions capable of generating positive social impact.
